Zabaglione

 Ingredients

 1/4 cup sugar
1 whole egg
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup sherry

Process

 1. Mix sugar and eggs in saucepan. 
2. Blend sherry in a little at a time. 
3. Place in a double boiler and cook, sirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and sticks to a wooden spoon. 
4. Serve in sherbet glasses.
