At first glance, I thought this was going to be a recipe for deviled eggs but it's not and I still can't decide if this ancient snack is good or just too plain weird for me to attempt.
"Boil 4 eggs for 5 minutes. Remove shells carefully as to not break eggs."
Um - is this a play with fire kind of recipe because I hard boil mine for at least 10 minutes. Is 5 minutes even a soft boil?
"Dip eggs first into beaten egg, then into breadcrumbs. Fry in shallow fryer until brown. Serve with white sauce that has a little curry added to it."
White Sauce? What is white sauce? Is the Spruce Eats going to bail me out? Nope it sounds like white sauce is Bechamel Sauce (which apparently was an ice box staple back then)
