The Spencers' Pecan Hors D'oeuvres

1 Tablespoon butter

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  2. Melt butter in cookie tray.
  3. Spread pecans one layer think and salt lightly.
  4. Toast in oven for 20 to 25 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. Let cool and keep in jars or tins for weeks.

I think my mom calls these Smith Club pecans. Maybe they used to sell them as a fundraiser!? What a WONDERFUL blog!! I can't wait to look around it more. Your family had the BEST EVER Christmas parties, and I think about you and your mother every holiday.
