Mushroom Stock

This mushroom stock is or can be used in many of the recipes in this blog.
1 to 2 pounds mushrooms
2 cups cold water
stalk of celery chopped
one clove

  1. Combine ingredients and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and bring to a simmer.
  3. Simmer 30 minutes.
  4. Strain and extract all liquid.
  5. Save in airtight container in refrigerator.
