Ingredients:
5 egg yolks beaten for 5 minutes
5 egg whites, beaten stiff
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 level teaspoon cornstarch
2 Tablespoons ground chocolate
5 egg whites , beaten stiff
1/2 pint whipped cream
sugar and vanilla to taste
Process:
- Preheat oven 350
- Combine first 5 ingredients
- Fold in whites of eggs.
- Bake in flat pan lined with paper, buttered and floured, about ten minutes
- Turnout on board and roll up while warm.
- Before serving unroll and spread with 1/2 pint whipped cream with a little sugar and vanilla.
- Re-roll and slice.
- Serve with chocolate sauce.
