This comment came from Laura's Mom:
"Many thanks for including me on your two blogs. (I've sent your posting on to Laura.) Have already copied out the crab dip recipe. It makes me feel still connected to your mom. HiHo was an absolute dear -- one of the world's most kind and gentle souls. She was truly blessed with the gift of hospitality, and we were often the beneficiaries of her welcoming nature. The joy of Christmas Eve was always the celebration at (your house). The fun of those holiday evenings remains with us still.

I'm glad that you are keeping up so many of HiHo's traditions. And the cookbook is a splendid idea. HiHo would surely be proud and happy."
