Balsamic Basil Salt for the March Food in Jars challenge

Beautiful, simple and a tasty addition to food, this salt is a breeze. 

Ingredients
1 large package of basil, leaves only.
2 cups Kosher salt
1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar

Process
1. Preheat oven to its lowest setting. 
2. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until well combined. 




















3. Spread salt out on a baking sheet. 



4. Place baking sheet in the oven and heat until dried. 
5. Remove from oven and break up into salt again. 

6. Store in a jar with a lid in a warm dry place.
